Redondo Beach is a family-friendly seaside playground that is packed with hidden treasures. Explore the natural wonders along the water’s edge, soak up the scenery from our historic horseshoe-shaped pier, dive in to an exclusive submarine canyon, or take a bike ride along the shore. Or maybe investigate new food temptations and venture into a little retail therapy. In Redondo Beach, there’s always More To Sea.
The City of Redondo Beach enjoys a healthy economic base. Concentrations of employment and retail activity include the northern industrial complex anchored by the Nothrop Grumman campus, the Harbor and Pier area which generates positive cash flow to the City’s General Fund to support services for the rest of the community, the South Bay Galleria anchoring the east end of the city, and an eclectic mix of specialty shops and services in the Riviera Village in the South. One of the largest revenue sources to the City is sales tax, so please shop local.
Take a walk on Artesia Blvd; Take a stroll in the Riviera Village, Explore the South Bay Galleria Mall; Go down to the Pier and Harbor areas and Shop, Eat, Drink and Enjoy all of the local flavors that Redondo Beach has to offer. There are many new stores, restaurants and places to visit that you might not even know existed!
